e-rara.ch impresses visitors with new look and feel
On this platform, we put digitized documents within easy reach, making them available at the click of a mouse and easy to use in your research.
After ten years and with some 78,800 titles, e-rara.ch was relaunched at the end of March 2020 with a modern and intuitive design. Thanks to this new responsive design, it is now even easier to do research on the digitized content using a tablet or smartphone.
You can start a general or detailed search directly from the homepage, and you are invited to rediscover the many topics and collections of the platform using the image carousel.
You want to use e-rara.ch as a tool in your scientific work? No problem: Edit, share and download the digitized images and book pages yourself, use the IIIF Manifesto to compare them with digitized resources from numerous renowned institutions of the IIIF community and explore them more closely on screen. With just a click, full texts and metadata can be exported as bibliographic data. These are just some of the features of e-rara.ch that now make your research easier.
