swissuniversities and Wiley sign a new transformative Open Access agreement
swissuniversities has adopted a new transformative Open Access agreement with Wiley. This agreement provides access to all journals issued by Wiley and enables authors affiliated with University of Basel to publish their accepted research papers Open Access.
The read&publish-agreement with Wiley is operative from 1. May 2021.

Publish Authors at the University of Basel and the associated University Hospitals of Basel submitting a manuscript in a hybrid open access journals issued by Wiley may select a free open access option during the publication process as described in „Funder Agreements and Payments“. This includes all articles accepted from 1.5.2021 by hybrid open access journals published by Wiley. Gold open access journals are excluded from this agreement. The agreement with swissuniversities includes a quota of eligible articles.
