Journal Impact Factor 2020

The new Journal Impact Factors 2020 are here.

The Journal Impact Factor (JIF), frequently called "Impact Factor", is ranking thousends of scholarly journals. The values are calculated every year by Clarivate Analytics and published in Journal Citation Reports (JCR). 2020 JIF are listed since 1. Juli 2021. The new Journal Citaton Indicator (JCI) aims to get rid of some flaws inherent in the JIF. JCI is a relative measure of the mean count of citations to an article in a specific journal, normalizing the various subjects and types of articles (e.g. review) to the value of 1. Moreover, the portal JCR is newly designed, similar to the novel version of Web of Science, used by default from 7. Juli 2021.
