The Medical Library at the University Hospital Basel (USB) – Dealing with individual case studies / case series in systematic reviews
Individual case studies and case series can be integrated into systematic reviews, which can provide insights into the treatment of rare diseases or the effectiveness of rare treatment approaches. In this Coffee Lecture you will learn procedures to assess the relevance of single case studies and case series for a research area. We will also present standardized procedures for including such studies in evidence synthesis.
