Negotiations with Wiley: Information for authors
We are close to concluding a new Open Access agreement with Wiley. All articles published in Wiley journals from January 1, 2025, will be made Open Access retrospectively once the agreement is in place.
What to do now:
- For hybrid journals: choose the “publish behind paywall” option when your article is accepted.
- For Gold Open Access journals: select “Author pays”, but do not pay any invoice.
Your publication will be converted to Open Access free of charge once the new workflows are activated. Invoices that have already been paid will not be refunded.
